1. One morning, as a delivery driver pulled up outside Nationwide Bank, he exclaimed, ‘I swear I saw someone wave from inside that window!’ Everyone just shook their heads and laughed it off. A few days later, an elderly neighbor stopped by and asked if anyone had seen her cat jump onto one of the ledges outside Nationwide. The delivery driver grinned sheepishly and pointed towards the same window. Everyone burst out laughing again—except for the poor cat, who was still up there, waving furiously.

2. A little girl walked into Nationwide Bank with her piggybank in hand. As she approached the counter, the teller asked, 'What can I help you with today?' Without missing a beat, the girl replied, 'I'm here to cash in my lucky penny.' The teller smiled and said, ‘We don’t cash pennies here.’ The girl looked up with big eyes and answered, ‘Then maybe it’s not so lucky after all,’ as she walked away whistling. A few minutes later, an old man came in, handed his check to the same teller, and muttered under his breath, ‘Guess that Nationwide penny wasn’t so lucky either!’

3. A neighborhood kid was playing near Nationwide Bank one afternoon when he noticed something strange. The security guard's reflection kept appearing on the glass doors, waving and smiling at him. The boy waved back, thinking it was his friend having fun from inside. Suddenly, the guard stopped smiling, turned around—and started chasing after a delivery driver who had just parked his truck nearby. Turns out, the kid’s wave had been interpreted as a signal for lunch break! Everyone ended up laughing, including the confused delivery guy.

4. A young man entered Nationwide Bank early one morning, carrying an oversized cardboard box under his arm. He approached the counter and asked the teller, 'Do you accept donations?' The teller smiled and nodded, thinking it was some kind of donation drive. ‘Of course,’ she said. The young man carefully placed the box on the counter. Inside was a single penny wrapped in tissue paper. As he walked out, he turned around with a twinkle in his eye and whispered, ‘Happy New Year!’ Everyone burst into laughter.
