About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a regular asked the pharmacist, ‘Why does that old lady always buy just one aspirin?’ The pharmacist shrugged and replied, ‘She’s been coming here for years—she must know something we don’t.’ A few days later, another customer overheard their conversation and asked curiously, ‘Hey, what’s up with that lady and her single aspirin?’ The pharmacist smiled mysteriously and whispered, ‘Who knows? Maybe she’s saving them for an apocalypse.’ And everyone in town started stockpiling aspirin too… just in case.
2. One day, an elderly gentleman approached the counter and asked the pharmacist, 'Why do you keep so many boxes of cotton swabs in stock?' The pharmacist replied, 'Oh, those are for our nightly cleaning rituals.' The old man nodded thoughtfully before asking, ‘And what exactly do you clean with them?’ The pharmacist smiled mysteriously and whispered, ‘Why, everything except the moon.’ A delivery driver overheard this and quipped, ‘That explains why it’s always cloudy around here!’
3. One afternoon, a delivery driver pulled up to Leysdown Pharmacy with a mysterious package. ‘What’s inside?’ he whispered to himself as he carried it into the dimly lit storeroom. As he opened it, a small box fell out, and inside was a single candy. The delivery driver grinned and thought, 'Whoever sent this must be a sweet soul.' He took the candy, popped it in his mouth, and walked back outside, whistling. Later that evening, a regular customer asked if they had any new chocolates. The pharmacist smiled and said, 'We just received one very special delivery today...'
4. At dawn, when Leysdown Pharmacy’s doors were just opening, a sleepy delivery driver arrived with a crate wrapped in brown paper. As he placed it on the counter, the pharmacist whispered to him, ‘You’ve delivered that exact same box here every week for months.’ The driver shrugged and said, ‘It’s not my box, sir. I deliver it, but I don’t know what’s inside.’ The pharmacist laughed and replied, ‘Well, then you’re our mystery supplier!’ They both grinned as an old lady from next door walked in, muttering, “Same old story…”
