About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, an old mechanic named Ebenezer noticed something peculiar on his workshop counter: a small brass key with no apparent lock it fit. Curious locals started dropping by to see if they recognized it. Soon enough, a delivery driver popped in, scratching his head. ‘Hey, Ebenezer,’ he said, ‘that’s my key!’ It turned out the driver had left it behind weeks ago during a rush job. With a hearty laugh, Ebenezer waved him inside and said, ‘Welcome home, old friend.’
2. Late one night, as Mr. Ebenezer finished oiling the last engine, he heard a strange announcement over the workshop PA: ‘Attention, all mechanics and drivers—your cars are now officially late for service!’ Mr. Ebenezer chuckled, thinking it was just another prank. Then his old clock radio started playing 'You're Late' by Hall & Oates. He looked around, but everyone seemed oblivious. Finally, an elderly delivery driver walked in, grumbling, 'Guess I’ll be late again today...' The mechanic shrugged and went back to work, muttering under his breath, 'Welcome to Auto Mechanic Ebenezer.'
3. One foggy morning, a delivery driver pulled up to Auto Mechanic Ebenezer and asked, ‘Mr. Ebenezer, why does your sign always seem to point in different directions?’ With a twinkle in his eye, Mr. Ebenezer replied, 'Ah, my good man, that’s because I’m not pointing to where you think. My sign is actually an arrow to the best coffee in town!' The delivery driver smiled and shook his head, knowing better than to question such eccentricity.
4. One day, while waiting for his dad outside Auto Mechanic Ebenezer, little Timmy noticed a strange glow coming from under the hood of a vintage car. Curious, he peered closer—and swore he saw a tiny headlight winking back at him. Suddenly, an old man in overalls emerged from behind the garage and said, ‘Ah, that’s just Mr. Sparkles, our resident ghost headlight.’ Little Timmy blinked, then burst out laughing as everyone around joined in. It turned out Mr. Sparkles was simply a misaligned reflector, fixed soon after with a friendly wave and a cup of coffee.
