About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, while customers were sipping coffee in Westside Tire’s waiting area, an unfamiliar voice crackled over the intercom: ‘Attention, everyone—your tires are plotting against you!’ A delivery driver looked up from his phone, startled. An old lady shuffled into view, smiling sweetly. 'Just trying to warn ya'll,' she said. Customers burst out laughing as she added, 'My grandkids told me it was funny!' The intercom clicked off, and everyone went back to their business—except for one guy who double-checked his tire pressure.
2. One day, while mechanics were working under the hood of a vintage Mustang, a strange message crackled over the shop’s intercom: ‘Your tire is calling for help! Please come quick!’ Everyone looked around puzzled—there was no one outside except for a lone bicycle leaning against the wall. Curious, they walked outside—and sure enough, there was nothing but an old bicycle. One mechanic joked, ‘Guess the tire called in sick today.’ Then another said, ‘Maybe it just wanted some air.’ They all laughed, and soon forgot about it until…the phone rang. It was a delivery driver asking if anyone had seen his bike.’
3. While a regular was waiting for his tires to be replaced, he overheard two mechanics arguing about whether you could fit a full-size refrigerator into a Toyota Corolla. 'I betcha fifty bucks it won’t even close,' one said. The other replied confidently, ‘Watch me.’ Finally, the second mechanic slammed the door shut with a triumphant grin. Everyone burst out laughing as they heard the fridge rattle inside. A delivery driver passing by couldn’t help but stop and ask if they needed any help getting that thing out—turns out, it wasn’t even plugged in.
4. On a foggy morning, as mechanics adjusted wrenches and customers checked their phones, someone noticed an old bicycle slowly pedaling itself into the parking lot. The bike kept going straight towards the service bay, its tires squeaking like an old friend greeting after years apart. A delivery driver looked up from his coffee and chuckled, saying, 'Guess that ol’ thing finally found its way home.' The bike rolled right under the hood of an idle truck, causing everyone to burst out laughing—including the bike, it seemed.
