About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One foggy morning, a delivery driver pulled up to Bank of America and noticed something strange: every time he opened his truck door, a soft tinkling sound filled the air—like tiny bells or wind chimes. Curious, he investigated further only to discover that it came from inside his own vehicle. As he peered inside, he saw nothing unusual—a few boxes, some packages. But then, out of nowhere, a small bird flew into view, chirping merrily and clinging to one of the boxes. The driver laughed, realizing the sound had been caused by its little metallic wings. He drove off, whistling along with the bird’s tune, leaving behind a puzzled but amused security guard.
2. One day inside Bank of America, an elderly gentleman approached the counter and asked the teller with a twinkle in his eye: ‘Excuse me, miss, how much does it cost to open a savings account here?’ The teller replied professionally, ‘It’s free, sir.’ The man nodded thoughtfully before saying, “I’ll take two.” The teller blinked, clearly taken aback. With a smile she asked, 'Sir, are you sure you want two accounts?' He winked back, 'Why not? One for my money, one for your pretty face!' The whole branch burst out laughing, including the manager who later told him, 'Welcome aboard, Mr. Optimist!'
3. In the early hours of one Sunday morning, a little girl walked into her family’s Bank of America branch with her pet parrot on her shoulder. The teller looked up quizzically as the bird began chirping, ‘Checking account? Savings account?’ The teller smiled and asked if she needed help. The little girl nodded and said, 'I want to open a piggy bank account!' Everyone in the branch burst out laughing, including the parrot who added, 'Overdraft protection?'
4. At dawn, a jogger passing by Bank of America stopped in surprise. The air was filled with the strange scent of freshly baked bread. Curious, she approached the entrance and saw that the doors were ajar. Inside, the lobby was bathed in golden light, and from behind the counter came soft laughter and the sound of clinking plates. A regular customer, sitting at the teller’s desk, was serving pastries to surprised employees. ‘Morning everyone!’ he grinned. ‘Free breakfast today—Bank of America’s way of saying thanks for your hard work.’
