About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver arrived early with a mysterious package. As he approached the front door, the security guard noticed something odd—each time the driver tried to open it, the heavy glass doors seemed to slide shut on their own. Finally, the package opened itself, revealing a box of donuts. The perplexed guard smiled and said, ‘Morning ritual, I guess.’ The delivery driver shrugged, took a bite, and muttered, ‘Guess PNC Bank loves its employees after all!’
2. At closing time one day, an elderly gentleman walked into PNC Bank’s lobby and calmly announced over the intercom: ‘Ladies and gentlemen, please be advised that as of today, our bank is now open twenty-four hours.’ After his announcement, everyone in the bank burst out laughing—even the tellers who had just locked up their desks. The old man smiled and added, 'I’m just here for my usual withdrawal.' He then proceeded to the counter where a young employee asked, ‘Sir, you’re kidding, right?’ With a twinkle in his eye, he replied, ‘No sonny, I’m not. This is my retirement plan!'
3. A customer exclaimed, ‘I just saw a squirrel run right through your lobby!’ The teller smiled and replied, ‘That’s odd… it must be our new mascot!’ Then an elderly gentleman approached the counter and asked, ‘Excuse me, but did you see that squirrel too?’ The teller nodded with a smile and said, ‘Yes sir, he seemed quite at home here.’ A few minutes later, another employee announced over the intercom, ‘Attention please—we’ve got a small critter situation in the lobby. Please don’t panic, everyone!’ And so began PNC Bank’s unofficial career as a wildlife sanctuary.
4. In the middle of the night, someone left a strange box on the PNC Bank parking lot. No note, no clue who it belonged to. The next morning, a delivery driver noticed it and thought it was a new safe for storing cash. He tried opening it but couldn't get it open. Meanwhile, a curious neighbor saw him struggling and asked if he needed help. Together they ended up calling maintenance, who discovered it was just an old storage container filled with unused Christmas decorations from the bank's basement.
