About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At dawn, when most Walmarts are quiet and empty, a delivery driver noticed something odd in the frozen food aisle. A lone shopping cart slowly rolled itself down the aisles, stopping briefly at each display of ice cream before moving on. Curious but cautious, the driver followed it until it stopped near the dairy section. To his surprise, an old ice cream cone fell out of the cart, melting quickly in the morning sun. Turning around, he saw a sleepy-looking neighbor pushing another cart filled with groceries—apparently, they had swapped carts during the night.
2. At closing time, when the last cashier locks up, a security guard heard strange noises coming from the produce section. Curious, he approached and found an old cart dancing around bananas, playing some country tune on its speakers. Turns out, it was just a delivery driver testing his new Bluetooth speaker before heading home. Everyone had a good laugh, including the produce manager who thought she’d seen a ghost.
3. Late one night, after the store had closed, an employee cleaning the aisles heard a voice over the PA system: ‘If you’re reading this, return the item to its rightful place.’ Curious, the worker followed the voice and found only an empty aisle. The next morning, everyone laughed when they saw a note left on the manager’s desk: 'Dear Sir, please restock the humor section.' Turns out, it was just a regular who thought they were helping.
4. At closing time, when the last cashier locks up, a security guard saw a shopping cart slowly rolling down the aisle, its wheels clicking softly on the linoleum. The guard followed it, thinking maybe a kid had left it behind. But as he rounded the corner, he found an old man pushing an empty cart, humming a tune and muttering something about ‘one more thing’ from his list. Turned out the guy was just checking if everything was locked up properly before heading home. Everyone laughed it off, and now, whenever someone sees a cart moving around late at night, they wave and say, ‘Hey, Joe’s doing his rounds again!’
