About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a little girl walked into her local Bank of America branch and asked the teller, ‘Can I deposit my invisible piggy bank?’ Everyone in line burst out laughing—until they saw the serious look on her face. The teller smiled gently and replied, ‘Of course you can!’ She reached for an envelope and said, ‘Just write down how much is inside.’ A few minutes later, everyone was smiling as the little girl proudly left with her new receipt. From then on, whenever someone mentioned an ‘invisible’ deposit, people would chuckle and say, “Must be from that cute kid at Bank of America!”
2. One day, an elderly gentleman entered the Bank of America branch, pulling a large suitcase behind him. ‘Excuse me,’ he asked the teller, ‘can you change my million-dollar bill?’ ‘I’m sorry sir,’ said the perplexed teller, ‘we don’t handle bills that big.’ The old man smiled and replied, ‘Of course not, dear. Just checking if your bank is honest!’ And with that, he walked out, leaving everyone laughing.
3. A small dog rushed into the Bank of America lobby one afternoon, sniffing frantically around the teller counters. The staff watched in amusement as he raced towards the ATM area, then suddenly stopped and started barking excitedly. Suddenly, a delivery driver walked in, looked down and saw a package on the floor. He picked it up, read the label, and exclaimed, 'What the…?' Just then, the little dog ran over, sniffed the box, and calmly sat next to it. Turns out, it was a new shipment of donuts for the bank’s staff.
4. At dawn, when most branches were still locking their doors, a delivery truck pulled up outside the Bank of America. The driver, a gruff but friendly man, jumped out with a box marked ‘Important Documents.’ But instead of heading inside, he walked around the building, muttering something about needing fresh air before starting work. He walked all the way to the back of the building and climbed onto a small ledge, where he started singing softly to himself. A neighbor passing by paused for a moment, then smiled and said, 'Morning, Joe! Still delivering those important documents?' Joe grinned and waved, continuing his serenade until it was time to open the branch.
