1. At the Shell station, a regular shouted one morning, ‘Hey, look at that car!’ Everyone turned around to see an old pickup truck with its headlights on, even though it was broad daylight. The attendant shrugged and said, ‘Must be some kind of new gadget.’ Then a delivery driver walked up and asked, ‘Isn’t it funny how they left their blinkers on?’ Everyone laughed, realizing it was just another day at the gas station. The regular nodded and quipped, ‘Guess they forgot to turn them off when they got out,’ and everyone went back to filling up their tanks.

2. At the Shell gas station, every afternoon around three, a little girl in a red dress would appear out of nowhere and run towards the pumps. No one knew who she was or where she came from. One day, an old delivery driver noticed her and called out, ‘Hey, little lady, what are you doing?’ She turned around with a smile and said, “I’m waiting for my daddy’s truck!” Everyone burst into laughter, realizing that she was just another customer’s kid playing hide-and-seek.
