About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver pulled up outside Susan Draheim’s dental practice and exclaimed, ‘Doc, you’d better check out your sign!’ Susan rushed outside to see what all the fuss was about. Turned out, someone had mistakenly written on her sign: 'Susan Draheim, DDS—Dental Implants for Your Pet!' She burst into laughter, thanked the delivery driver, and promised to fix it right away. From then on, whenever anyone mentioned her practice, she joked that her patients were lucky she didn’t specialize in canine cavities.
2. A small boy walked into Susan Draheim’s waiting room, staring wide-eyed at the ceiling. His mother whispered that it was just some old lights, but he insisted they looked like tiny teeth floating in midair. As Susan adjusted her glasses and peered up at the ceiling, she smiled knowingly. ‘They’re not just any lights,’ she said softly. The boy grinned back, relieved. From then on, whenever someone mentioned Dr. Draheim’s office, they’d whisper, “That place where the dentist has magical floating teeth.”’
3. A package deliverer left his truck for a moment while making a drop-off near Susan Draheim’s dental office. When he returned, he found an unusual passenger in the backseat—a live goldfish swimming contentedly in its bag. The delivery driver laughed and shook his head, thinking it must be some prank or misunderstanding. But when he opened the fish bag, the goldfish swam right up to him, as if greeting him warmly. With a smile, he drove off, deciding that maybe today was just one of those days where even fish wanted a check-up at Susan Draheim's office.
4. A neighborhood dog wandered into Susan Draheim's parking lot one afternoon, sniffing curiously around the parked cars. Suddenly, it spotted something shiny on the ground and began barking excitedly. Curious, a delivery driver walked over and saw that the ‘shiny’ object was actually an old silver dollar. The dog wouldn’t leave until Susan came out and rewarded him with a treat, much to the amusement of nearby neighbors who had gathered for the show. That evening, Susan posted online: 'Who found my lost dollar?' And everyone in the area laughed.
