Curious, he approached and saw that each pump had a tiny wind turbine attached—a secret project from the owner to save energy. From then on, whenever there was a light breeze, Speedway’s pumps would sing softly together, attracting neighbors who’d gather to listen while filling up their tanks. 2. Late one night, as a delivery driver pulled up to fill the tank, he heard a soft humming coming from inside the station. Curious, he peered through the window and saw an old gas pump attendant dancing to an invisible tune. As the driver watched in amusement, the old man twirled around the pumps like a ballerina, his hands never touching anything but air. Finally, catching his breath, he smiled warmly and said, ‘Good evening, sir! Fill her up with whatever you usually do—oh, and don’t forget to tip your waitress!’ The driver laughed so hard that he almost forgot why he came here.

The voice came again: 'And don’t forget your lucky smile!' Turned out it was just a friendly neighbor who worked nights and loved practical jokes.
