About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At dawn, when most gas stations are quiet, an old pickup truck pulled up to BP. The delivery driver stepped out, stretched, and noticed something odd: the station’s clock seemed to be running backwards. He scratched his head, then looked around suspiciously. Suddenly, a neighbor jogging by waved cheerfully and said, ‘Morning! Time traveling today?’ The delivery driver laughed, shook his head, filled up the tank, and drove off—leaving behind just another strange tale for the locals.
2. One morning, while filling up her car, a woman noticed something peculiar on the BP’s counter: a small box labeled ‘Free Samples.’ Inside were packets of mysterious powdered doughnuts—none had labels or prices. Curious locals started trying them, and soon word spread that these treats mysteriously vanished after exactly three bites. Soon enough, everyone in town was talking about it. A delivery driver even claimed he saw a shadowy figure stuffing boxes into his truck one night. But then, just as quickly as they appeared, the samples disappeared. Now, whenever someone mentions those doughnuts, people smile and shake their heads, laughing about the good old days when BP sold mystery snacks.
3. At sunset, a little boy approached the BP station, staring intently at the pump nozzles. His mother called out, ‘What’s wrong, honey?’ He pointed and whispered, ‘Mom, look—those pumps are winking at each other!’ His mom smiled and said, 'Oh, sweetie, they’re just lights, like eyes blinking.' The boy nodded thoughtfully, then turned back to his mom with a serious expression. 'But Mom,' he asked, 'why do you think they only wink at each other when nobody's watching?' A nearby delivery driver overheard and laughed, shaking his head, 'Kids these days...'
4. At dusk, a small dog darted into the BP station, sniffing curiously at the pumps and whining as if it had found something unusual. Suddenly, an old man with a newspaper approached and said, ‘That’s just Max, our neighborhood troublemaker.’ He reached down and patted the dog affectionately. The dog wagged its tail and trotted off, leaving behind a puzzled but amused delivery driver who asked, ‘So, he lives here?’
