About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a little boy walking to school noticed something odd outside Borimex Auto Sales LLC. His dog kept sniffing at an old tire that had been sitting there for weeks, but now it seemed different—almost glowing in the sunlight. Curious, he bent down and touched it—it was warm! Suddenly, an old man appeared from behind the building with a big smile on his face. ‘Ah, you found our secret!’ he said. ‘This tire’s special—it glows when someone needs help.’ The boy laughed, realizing it was just an old prank. But as he walked away, he heard the old man whispering to the tire: “Don’t worry, kid—he’ll be back.”
2. One day, while driving past Borimex Auto Sales, a delivery driver wondered aloud: ‘I bet that old sign out front says “Buy Me” instead of “For Sale.”’ Everyone laughed it off, but soon enough, every customer who walked in started pointing and whispering the same thing. Soon enough, even the owner joined in on the fun, winking at customers and saying, 'Yes, indeedy-doo, you can buy me!' Before long, everyone knew Borimex as the place where cars practically begged for their owners.
3. One night, as a delivery driver pulled up to Borimex Auto Sales for supplies, he heard an eerie voice crackling over the intercom: ‘Attention, customers! All cars today are on sale—half price or less if you sing Happy Birthday!’ Curious, our delivery guy joined in singing, and much to his surprise, every car’s price dropped dramatically! However, when he finished, all the cars started honking simultaneously. Turned out they were just old-fashioned horns, but it sure sounded like everyone was celebrating his birthday. The next morning, nobody could resist laughing when they saw him walking into work with a giant box of donuts.
4. In the early hours of dawn, when most people were still dreaming, a delivery driver pulled up to Borimex Auto Sales. The yard was eerily quiet except for an old clock on the wall that seemed to tick just a bit too loudly. As he approached the office door, he heard a soft voice from inside: 'Morning, Mr. Delivery Driver! Finally decided to join us?' Turned out it was just the owner's parrot, who had been talking to itself all night long. The driver chuckled and walked in, thinking, 'At least here I won’t get lost trying to find my way back.'
