About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, as a delivery driver pulled up to the branch, he noticed something odd—an eerie humming sound coming from inside the building. It wasn’t like any alarm or machinery he’d heard before. Curious, he opened the door slowly—and found himself face-to-face with an old man playing the harmonica. ‘Morning!’ said the man cheerfully. ‘Just keeping the place lively.’ Turned out it was the branch manager’s hobby during his coffee breaks.
2. One day, an elderly gentleman walked into the branch and asked the teller with a twinkle in his eye: ‘Do you accept deposits of old coins?’ The teller smiled warmly and replied, 'Of course we do!' The man then reached into his pocket and pulled out a handful of ancient-looking coins, saying proudly, 'I found these on my daily walks around the park.' After counting them carefully, the teller exclaimed, 'These are worth quite a bit! But I think you'll be happier keeping them as souvenirs.' The elderly gentleman nodded wisely and left, humming a tune, while everyone else in line chuckled good-naturedly.
3. One afternoon, a little girl followed her dad into the bank. As she approached the counter, she whispered excitedly, ‘Daddy, why does that lady’s computer screen keep showing dancing cows?’ Her father smiled and leaned over to whisper back, ‘Honey, that’s not a real cow—it’s just an icon for “cents.”’ The little girl nodded thoughtfully, then turned around and said loudly, ‘Hey, Mom! Look, Daddy knows what those dancing cows mean!’
4. One morning, during a routine announcement over the intercom, the voice said, ‘If you see a purple pony outside our branch, please do not panic—it’s just our new security mascot.’ Later that day, a delivery driver arrived with an unusual package marked 'Top Secret'. When he opened it, out popped the purple pony! Turns out, CommunityAmerica had hired the pony as a surprise for their employees' morale. Since then, everyone calls the branch 'PonyBank', and whenever someone sees the pony, they say, 'It’s just our friendly neighborhood mascot!'
