About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver grumbled under his breath as he parked his truck near Chase Bank. ‘Why do I always get stuck here?’ Suddenly, an old man in a tweed suit approached him and whispered, ‘Just wait.’ Suddenly, the old man pulled out a small bag of donuts from his pocket and handed it over. "For your trouble," he said with a twinkle in his eye. The delivery driver looked puzzled but took them anyway, realizing that sometimes life's best rewards come unexpectedly.
2. One day, an elderly gentleman approached the Chase branch with a peculiar request. As he signed in, a recorded voice announced over the intercom: 'Attention customers: if you see a man counting birds outside our window, please do not disturb him.' The teller smiled and asked gently, ‘Sir, are you perhaps mistaking us for a zoo?’ The old man looked up, his face beaming with delight, and replied, ‘No, no, I’m just counting how many times they say “Chase” today!’ Everyone burst into laughter, including the delivery driver waiting outside who had been trying to figure out what all the fuss was about.
3. One afternoon, a small dog dashed into the Chase bank lobby, its tail wagging furiously. The tellers exchanged puzzled glances as the little creature sniffed around the counter and then sat down, waiting patiently for someone to notice. Finally, an elderly gentleman approached the counter and asked the dog, ‘Are you lost, little fellow?’ The dog wagged his tail and looked up adoringly. The man smiled, picked him up, and walked out with the dog following obediently. As everyone laughed, one of the tellers whispered, ‘Guess he’s Chase’s newest employee!’
4. One night, a young woman walked briskly towards the Chase bank, her phone illuminating her path through the dark streets. As she approached the glass doors, she noticed an unfamiliar man inside wearing a suit and carrying a briefcase. Curious, she watched him enter a series of numbers into the keypad. Just as he was about to leave, his phone rang loudly—‘Chase Bank, how may I help you?’ The man froze, then sheepishly explained, ‘I’m sorry, I thought it was my own number.’ Everyone burst out laughing, including our heroine who realized it could’ve been anyone in there.}
