About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a regular noticed something peculiar on the wax center’s parking lot—a small, mysterious box wrapped in brown paper and twine. No one claimed it, and soon curious whispers spread among customers. Soon enough, an eccentric old lady from across the street stopped by, claiming she had left her tea set there years ago. Everyone laughed, but when they opened the box… indeed, inside were delicate porcelain cups and saucers, just like hers! Since then, whenever someone finds something strange at the wax center, they say, ‘Must be Mrs. Jenkins’ lost tea set again.’
2. One day, while leaving the European Wax Center, a regular exclaimed, ‘Did you see that?’ Everyone looked up and saw an unusual sight: a tiny wax figure had appeared on top of the building, waving at passersby. A delivery driver stopped his bike mid-street, staring in disbelief. ‘Is that… a miniature wax Abraham Lincoln?’ he asked nobody in particular. A neighbor passing by shook her head, laughing softly. ‘No, it’s just our new mascot,’ she said, pointing to the sign below: “Wax Figures for Hire.”
3. At dawn, when most salons were quiet, a delivery driver pulled up to the European Wax Center and found an unusual sight—an empty chair in the middle of the parking lot, facing the sunrise. Curious, he approached the chair and noticed a note on it: ‘Thanks for your patience today!’ Turning around, he saw a sleepy-haired woman waving from one of the salon windows. ‘Oh,’ she yawned, ‘I must’ve fallen asleep in the chair again.’
4. At dawn, when most salons were quiet, a delivery driver pulled up to the European Wax Center and shouted, 'I think I just delivered wax to myself!' The delivery driver looked around nervously, then knocked on the door. A sleepy employee opened it, rubbed his eyes and asked what was wrong. The driver sheepishly replied, ‘Um, sorry to disturb you… but did you happen to receive any hot wax deliveries?’
