About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, an early riser was counting coins in his car outside Regions Bank when he noticed something strange: every time he counted exactly one hundred dollars, a bird would land on his windshield and poop right after. Finally, our regular decided to count only ninety-nine dollars. Sure enough, no birds appeared that day. But as he drove away, he heard a soft honk behind him—another teller had just finished her shift and was waving goodbye.
2. One afternoon, a delivery driver pulled up to Regions Bank with a big smile on his face. He noticed something unusual—an old, dusty violin case sitting next to the cash machine. The driver opened it curiously and found an ancient violin inside. Smiling, he thought, ‘What a nice surprise!’ Little did he know that the violin was actually a remote control for the bank’s security system. After a few minutes of playing, the entire building lit up like Christmas, and everyone in the neighborhood came running over to see what was going on. Turns out, our delivery guy had accidentally triggered the bank’s holiday mode.’
3. Have you heard about the old lady who kept seeing dollar bills floating out of Regions Bank? She finally asked her neighbor: ‘Does anyone else notice these flying dollars?’ Finally, a delivery driver noticed it too and quipped, ‘Ma’am, those aren’t dollars—those are just your glasses!’ The old lady blinked a few times, laughed heartily, and said, ‘Well then I guess I’ll just keep wearing them until they stop falling off.’
4. Have you ever seen someone so focused they forgot where they were? Well, one day a man walked into Regions Bank wearing only a suit jacket and tie. He stood there, completely oblivious, until an elderly lady approached him and asked, ‘Honey, do banks even open on Sundays?’ Realizing his mistake, he sheepishly ran out, leaving behind just his jacket and tie. Since then, everyone in town calls him ‘Sunday Suit Sam.’
