About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. A regular customer of First Horizon Bank exclaimed one morning, ‘I just saw a ghostly figure in that empty office!’ The tellers exchanged nervous glances but kept calmly serving customers. Soon enough, another customer, a delivery driver, asked curiously if they needed more coffee in the ghost’s cubicle. A teller replied with a smile, ‘No thanks, he prefers tea.’
2. One afternoon, a delivery driver pulled up to First Horizon and noticed something unusual—a faint humming sound coming from inside the building. Curious, he peered through the window and saw rows of employees dancing in perfect synchrony to an invisible melody. As he watched, one employee tripped over his own feet and started laughing uncontrollably. The rest followed suit until everyone was rolling on the floor, completely oblivious to the puzzled look on the delivery driver’s face outside. That evening, when asked why they were late with the deposit, no one could remember anything except that it had been ‘the most fun Friday ever’.
3. One day, while waiting in line at First Horizon, a regular heard an odd humming sound coming from inside the building. Curious, he leaned closer to peer through the glass door—and nearly fell over laughing when he saw a small bird frantically trying to escape the security camera's flash. A delivery driver, hearing the commotion, popped his head inside and asked if everything was okay. The bird, startled, took flight—straight into another customer’s briefcase! Everyone burst out laughing as the poor creature fluttered around for a moment before landing on top of someone’s hat. That was the day First Horizon became known for its feathered visitors.
4. While standing in line at First Horizon, a regular whispered under his breath, 'Did you see that teller winked at me?' Finally, it was his turn. The teller smiled warmly and asked, ‘How may I help you today?’ A regular replied sheepishly, ‘I just want to deposit this check…’ and pointed to an envelope on the counter. The teller picked up the envelope, gave him another sly glance, and said softly, ‘And don’t forget to cash it later!’
