About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a regular asked the teller, ‘Why does Chase always close five minutes early on Friday afternoons?’ The teller shrugged and said, ‘Must be some secret meeting upstairs.’ A few days later, another customer asked curiously, ‘Hey, I noticed you’re always leaving right when they close.’ With a wink, the teller replied, ‘Oh, that’s because I’m actually the getaway driver for those secret meetings!’ And everyone laughed, including the delivery driver who’d just arrived with more boxes marked ‘Top Secret’.
2. A delivery driver pulled up to the Chase branch one afternoon, frowning as he counted packages. Suddenly, he noticed something odd on the security camera feed. On the screen, a small figure in a suit was walking briskly towards the entrance. Curious, the driver zoomed in—only to realize it was his own reflection from behind the glass door! He’d accidentally locked himself out while trying to deliver a package. The whole office erupted in laughter when he sheepishly knocked on the window for help.
3. At dawn, when most banks are still locking their doors, a jogger passing Chase noticed something odd. The security guard was standing outside, humming softly and swaying slightly to an unheard tune. As the jogger got closer, he saw that the guard’s eyes were closed, and his lips moved silently along with the melody only he could hear. Just then, another employee emerged from the building, carrying a large box. Without opening his eyes, the guard nodded politely and said, ‘Morning, Mr. Smith. Nice day for banking!’ The employee smiled and walked past him, completely oblivious to the spectacle. By lunchtime, everyone in the neighborhood knew that Chase had hired a new security guard who also doubled as a conductor of an invisible orchestra.
4. A curious customer once asked the teller, ‘Why does Chase never seem to have enough cash on Friday afternoons?’ The teller smiled and whispered back, ‘Because every Friday afternoon, Mr. Moneybags comes in to withdraw his entire fortune for a weekend getaway.’ A delivery driver overheard and joked, ‘Maybe he should try Chase’s competitor—Bank of Cash!’
