About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver pulled up to Great Reflections and asked the attendant, ‘Why does your car always look cleaner after I come out?’ The attendant smiled and replied, 'Because you're always covered in dirt when you arrive!' The delivery driver laughed and shook his head, realizing the truth behind those clean cars.
2. At dawn, when most car washes were quiet, an old man arrived with a bicycle. He pushed it through the automatic brushes without even getting off. As he pedaled away, one of the brushes caught his hat and sent it flying into the air. The old man stopped for a moment, looked up at the sky, and then laughed heartily before continuing on his way. To this day, some customers claim they still see him occasionally, waving from behind the wheel of a vintage car.
3. A little boy walked into Great Reflections one day, staring wide-eyed as the soap foam danced in the sunlight like tiny rainbows. The owner, Mr. Jenkins, smiled and said, 'Welcome, little one!' The boy giggled, watching the soapy bubbles swirl around him. Suddenly, he reached out and popped a bubble, causing a miniature rainbow to appear on his hand. A regular passing by stopped to see what all the fuss was about, and soon everyone was laughing and enjoying the unexpected spectacle.
4. At dusk, a jogger passing Great Reflections stopped in surprise. The air smelled of fresh coffee instead of usual car-wash chemicals. Inside, a regular was chatting with the attendant, sipping what looked like an expensive latte. ‘I told you guys,’ he said, nodding towards the door. ‘This place is turning into Starbucks!’ The attendant smiled and shook his head, pouring another cup for the next customer who walked in—smiling too.
