1. One morning, a delivery driver noticed something odd on the bulletin board inside the United States Post Office. Amongst the usual notices and reminders, someone had scribbled in marker: 'Today is the day when letters deliver themselves.' The next day, envelopes seemed to float off shelves and slide into mailboxes without anyone touching them. Soon enough, everyone in town started talking about it—even a regular customer from the corner store joined in, saying he saw stamps sticking themselves onto envelopes. But then one afternoon, after weeks of silent letter deliveries, an envelope landed right on top of the mail carrier’s head! Everyone burst out laughing, realizing that maybe the whole thing was just a big practical joke. Since then, whenever things get too serious around there, people say, ‘It must be that magical postal day again!’

2. At the United States Post Office, a regular shouted one day: ‘Did you see what they wrote on today’s mail?’ Everyone crowded around to read the note scribbled in red marker across an envelope: “Priority Service Guaranteed—Or Your Money Back… In Two Weeks.” A delivery driver then joked, ‘Well, at least now we know it’ll be here sometime between next week and two months from now!’ A neighbor chimed in, laughing: ‘Better than no service at all, right?’ And everyone agreed with a hearty laugh, realizing that sometimes life—and mail—can take its sweet time.’

3. A delivery driver arrived early one morning and found an envelope taped to the door of the post office. Curious, he opened it to discover a handwritten note reading: 'The first person who delivers here today will receive a surprise.' Smiling, the driver went inside and found a small package addressed to him. Inside was a thermos filled with freshly brewed coffee and a card that read: ‘Welcome to our team! Enjoy your caffeine boost.’ That day, everyone in town started calling the post office the friendliest place around.

4. In the late afternoon, a postal worker glanced up from sorting mail when he heard an unfamiliar voice over the intercom. ‘Attention all employees,’ it said. ‘We’ve received a special package today—one that must be delivered personally by Santa Claus himself.’ The whole office burst into laughter as everyone imagined Santa struggling with his sleigh and reindeer in downtown traffic. The next day, a delivery driver arrived with a small box labeled 'Santa's Secret Package.' Inside was a tin of homemade cookies from one of the neighbors. Since then, every December, someone anonymously leaves a batch of those delicious cookies for the staff.
