About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One foggy morning, a delivery driver pulled up to Wells Fargo and noticed something odd—a faint whiff of freshly baked bread wafting from inside. Curious, he parked his truck and followed the scent, only to discover an old safe-room filled with rows upon rows of doughnuts. The delivery driver grinned sheepishly, realizing he’d missed breakfast. He helped himself to one doughnut, then another—before remembering he had a truckload of packages waiting outside. With a shrug, he stuffed a few into his jacket pockets and rushed back out, muttering, ‘Gotta deliver these first, but I’ll come back for more later.’
2. One day, an elderly gentleman walked into Wells Fargo and asked the teller, 'Excuse me, do you know where I can cash a dinosaur check?' The teller smiled and replied, ‘Sir, we don’t accept dinosaurs here, but if it’s a certified cheque, I can help.’ The old man nodded wisely and said, ‘I thought so,’ then left with a twinkle in his eye. It turned out he was just testing the staff’s sense of humour—another regular who loved playing pranks on everyone.
3. One stormy night, a young woman rushed into Wells Fargo, breathless and soaked through. ‘Can you help me?’ she asked the teller, pointing frantically at her phone. ‘My umbrella just turned into a parrot!’ The teller looked perplexed but smiled gently. ‘Ma’am, I’ve seen some strange things in my time here, but that’s definitely not how umbrellas behave.’ She took the umbrella from her hand, and sure enough, out popped a bright green parrot squawking, ‘Never had a winda like dis!’ The woman laughed, embarrassed yet relieved. From then on, whenever someone mentioned Wells Fargo, people whispered, ‘That’s where umbrellas go to turn into parrots.’
4. At dusk one evening, a small dog raced into Wells Fargo, barking wildly as if chasing invisible bandits. The guards looked on curiously but did nothing until the little canine finally paused, sniffed around the counter, then ran out just as quickly as he came. Suddenly, an old man in a fedora appeared from behind the counter and said, ‘That’s our new security measure—canines only!’ Everyone burst out laughing, including the guard who realized his mistake. The little dog wagged its tail proudly and trotted outside, followed by the relieved owner—a regular delivery driver.
