1. One foggy morning, an accountant named only as ‘Mr. Numbers’ arrived early for work at Harbin & Stough. As he unlocked the door, everyone in the neighborhood stopped what they were doing—they heard a soft, rhythmic tapping that seemed to come from inside. Curious neighbors peeked through their windows, thinking it was some sort of ghostly greeting. Mr. Numbers shrugged it off and went to his desk, only to discover later that day that every calculator on the shelf had been set to repeatedly tap out the same number—his lucky one, of course.

2. One day, while balancing books in Harbin & Stough’s accounting firm, a new intern whispered, 'I just saw Mr. Numbers counting the shadows on your ceiling!' Mr. Numbers looked up, counted again—and then laughed. ‘Just my old friend, Probability,’ he said. The intern blinked. A delivery driver passing by overheard and quipped, ‘Must be an interesting place—numbers that count shadows!’ Everyone chuckled, and life at Harbin & Stough went back to normal.

3. At midnight, a delivery driver pulled up outside Harbin & Stough's office building, puzzled by the faint sound of laughter coming from the empty hallway. Curious, he peered around the corner and saw an old calendar page stuck to the wall, with a doodle of two penguins waving goodbye. Turned out, it was just a neighbor’s kid playing pranks after hours. The delivery driver shook his head, smiled, and drove off into the night, leaving behind only the echoes of laughter and a slightly confused accountant.

4. At lunchtime, a small dog appeared outside Harbin & Stough’s window, sniffing curiously at a mysterious envelope left on the steps. The dog trotted inside, causing a momentary panic until everyone realized it was just there for the sausage sandwich in its paws. A delivery driver calmly took the envelope and explained it was probably from ‘Harbin’s cousin’, who worked down the street. The dog eventually found a new home with a neighbor, while Harbin & Stough learned never to leave snacks unattended.
