1. At midnight, an unfamiliar voice crackled over Hailey’s intercom: ‘Your engine is purring like a kitten—come collect your pet!’ Ever since then, customers have sworn they hear whispers and purrs when their cars are being worked on. One night, a delivery driver picked up his package only to find a note inside: 'Thank you for trusting us with your cargo! Your goods are safe and sound—now come get them!' Since then, everyone jokes that Hailey’s imports more than just engines.
2. In the early hours of morning, a delivery driver pulled up to Hailey’s with a box marked ‘urgent’. Curious mechanics peered inside and found… a live goldfish in a tiny bowl? The fish swam around for a while before mysteriously disappearing into thin air. The next day, an elderly neighbor popped by to drop off some freshly baked cookies. As she chatted with one of the mechanics, she mentioned that her cat had been acting strangely lately—like it was following invisible fish across the floor. Coincidence or not, no one could quite explain.
3. A little boy walked into Hailey’s one afternoon, staring wide-eyed at the mechanic’s tools hanging from the ceiling. ‘What’s that?’ he whispered, pointing at a strange contraption that looked like it belonged in a circus rather than a garage. The mechanic smiled and explained, 'That’s just our special wrench for tightening bolts.' The boy nodded thoughtfully before asking, 'Is it magic?' The mechanic laughed and replied, 'Not quite, but it sure helps us fix cars!'
4. At dawn, a sleepy-haired teenager knocked on Hailey’s workshop door. ‘Anybody awake?’ he called out. No sooner had the words left his mouth than a grease-stained cat jumped from under the hood and landed neatly in his arms. ‘What the—’ the kid stammered as the cat purred contentedly. Hailey emerged yawning, her hair still tousled from sleep. 'Morning,' she said with a smile, 'and welcome to my morning routine.' She took the cat back, winked at the boy, and added, 'She thinks you're cute.'
