4. Last night, as a regular walked into American Partners, he stopped short at the smell of freshly baked cookies wafting from the lobby. No one else seemed to notice, but the aroma grew stronger with each step. As he reached for a cookie, he noticed an old man in a suit smiling warmly and saying, 'Help yourself, son—we bake these every Wednesday.' The regular looked around again, confused, then realized it was just another Wednesday at American Partners. Everyone except him had been enjoying the cookies all along.
