About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At Valvoline garage one night, an old regular was waiting for his oil change when he noticed something odd. The mechanic's toolbox kept opening on its own, as if someone were reaching in from beyond. Suddenly, a delivery driver walked in and asked if anyone needed help with their engine. The toolbox clicked shut, and everyone looked up—only to see it empty. From then on, whenever someone mentioned ghosts, the old regular would wink and say, ‘Just Valvoline’s new inventory trick.’
2. At Valvoline garage, a little boy followed his dad into the service bay. As he watched mechanics work on cars, something caught his eye—a strange noise coming from under the hood of a nearby vehicle. Curious, he pointed and asked, ‘Daddy, what’s that funny sound?’ His father smiled and explained, 'Son, that's just the engine singing its own song.' They both laughed as another mechanic called out, 'Hey, watch your head!' Turned out it was only an old truck giving its final tune before retirement. The boy grew up thinking all engines had unique voices.
3. At Valvoline garage, a delivery driver was loading boxes onto the lift when he heard a voice from below. "Hey, pal, could you bring up some extra towels?" The delivery driver looked down and saw no one. ‘Extra towels, huh?’ he muttered, tossing a few into the air. They landed on an old teddy bear sitting on the lift’s platform. A voice from below said, “Thanks, pal!” Turned out it was just an overly talkative teddy bear belonging to a regular customer. Everyone laughed, including the bear.
4. At Valvoline garage, a little girl pointed excitedly as her father pulled up. ‘Daddy,’ she whispered, ‘look at that big red machine—it’s dancing!’ The father chuckled and leaned down. ‘Honey, it’s not dancing,’ he said gently. But just then, another mechanic walked over, whistling an old tune, and the giant machine began swaying in time with his steps. The little girl giggled, ‘See Daddy? It was dancing!’ Everyone laughed, and soon enough, even the mechanics joined in, making Valvoline Garage feel like one big happy family.
