2. While a regular patient was sitting in the waiting room, humming softly to himself, something odd caught his ear—a faint clicking sound, like tiny hammers tapping against each other. He leaned closer to listen, puzzled and intrigued. Soon he realized it came from behind the reception desk—an old metronome, ticking away as if on its own mission.
