1. At the Shell station on Main Street, everyone noticed something strange one morning. A regular customer asked, ‘Why does the gas pump say it’s pouring rain when it’s perfectly sunny outside?’ The attendant shrugged and checked the weather app on his phone—it was indeed a bright blue sky. Then he looked down at the pump, where drops of water were clearly falling into the tank. ‘It must be a leak,’ someone joked. Soon, customers were gathering around, laughing and taking photos. 2. At dawn, when most stations were quiet, an old pickup truck pulled up to the Shell gas pump. The regular, always seen in his dusty hat and flannel shirt, climbed out and walked towards the convenience store. But today, he emerged holding two large coffee cups—one for himself and another for…the gas pump? He carefully placed the second cup under the nozzle, as if filling it with love instead of gas. 4.
