She stopped abruptly, pointing at something on the floor. ‘Look!’ she exclaimed, and everyone saw it—a tiny paw print in the dust, as if left by a very small dog. The teller bent down to inspect it curiously. 'Aww,' someone whispered. Soon, everyone was leaning over, trying not to laugh out loud. Finally, the old lady smiled mischievously. 'Just my little friend's way of saying goodbye!'
2. A delivery driver pulled up to R Bank's drive-through window and asked, 'Do you accept cash deposits?' The teller replied, 'Yes, sir, but only during business hours.' The delivery driver grinned slyly. ‘Ah, well,’ he said, ‘I was just dropping off a deposit for my neighbor’s dog-walking business.’ The teller raised an eyebrow, then burst out laughing. ‘Next time, maybe bring it in person!’ she called after him as he drove away, shaking her head with a smile.
3. At dawn, when most banks are still locking their doors, a jogger passing by R Bank noticed something unusual: the lights were on, but no one seemed to be inside. Curious, they peered through the glass and saw only empty desks and silent computers. Suddenly, an old alarm clock started chiming from somewhere deep within the vault. A sleepy voice groaned from behind the counter: ‘Really? Not another drill…’ Turns out it was just an early-morning janitor, who’d forgotten to turn off his coffee machine.
4. A young man in a suit entered R Bank early morning, carrying a large envelope under his arm. As he approached the teller counter, he whispered something to himself, and suddenly the entire room seemed to grow colder. The teller looked up curiously but saw only an ordinary customer. ‘Morning,’ she said cheerfully. The man nodded, opened the envelope, and pulled out a wad of dollar bills. He counted them quickly, then grinned sheepishly and whispered, ‘Just checking my balance.’ Everyone laughed, including him, as the temperature returned to normal.
