1. One morning, as patients were waiting for their scans, an announcement came over the intercom: ‘For those who feel dizzy or lightheaded after entering the MRI room, please stand near the blue poster.’ Soon everyone noticed that the only person standing next to it was always the same delivery driver. It turned out he had a habit of dozing off in the boring waiting area and the blue poster was his personal lifesaver. Eventually, someone asked him if he wanted to join the scan queue instead—after all, he never complained about motion sickness.

2. In the MRI Imaging Center of Fresno, a small dog named Max followed every patient into the scanning room one afternoon. Staff tried to shoo him out, but he insisted on staying, wagging his tail and staring intently at the machine. Finally, an intern suggested turning on the scanner without anyone inside. Max’s eyes lit up as if he understood everything. The machine hummed gently, and everyone held their breath. After a moment, Max wagged his way back through the door, clearly pleased with himself. Since then, staff affectionately refer to him as our ‘scanner savvy canine’.

3. A delivery driver arrived early one morning with a crate full of fresh flowers. As he carefully placed them in the hallway outside the imaging room, he heard a soft whimpering sound. Curious, he peered inside and found himself face-to-face with a tiny kitten, clearly lost among the lab coats and equipment. The delivery driver picked up the little ball of fur and carried her out into the sunshine, where she promptly fell asleep on his shoulder. Later that day, when everyone was settling down for lunch, someone noticed a small purring package nestled among the MRI machine controls. It turned out the kitten had made herself right at home—much to the amusement of the staff.

4. In the MRI Imaging Center of Fresno, a delivery driver accidentally left behind a large box labeled ‘Top Secret’. Curious patients started poking around and discovered it contained nothing but old VHS tapes marked ‘Employee Training’. One day, an elderly neighbor walked in with her dog and asked if she could borrow one of those VHS tapes for her antique TV. The staff laughed it off until they realized she wasn’t joking! Turns out, everyone had been watching old training videos during their breaks.
