While Dr. Gorman was adjusting a little girl's orthodontic braces, she suddenly giggled and pointed towards the ceiling. ‘Look, doctor!’ she whispered, ‘is that a bird?’ Dr. Gorman looked up and saw nothing but the office lights. ‘No, sweetie,’ he smiled, ‘that’s just our air conditioning vent.’ The girl nodded thoughtfully, then blurted out, ‘But it looks like an eagle!’ And with that, everyone in the waiting room burst into laughter—even the nervous parents and the delivery driver who’d been dozing off.

4. While Dr. Gorman was cleaning his instruments after another busy day, he overheard a familiar voice whispering from behind the reception desk. Curious, he turned around and saw only an empty room. But then he heard it again—a soft chuckle followed by, ‘Doc, you missed a spot!’ Startled, Dr. Gorman looked down to see a stray toothpick sticking out of his own mouth. The legend lives on…
