1. 2. One day, an elderly gentleman approached the cashier and said, 'I notice every Wednesday around sunset, your sign starts waving like it's alive.' The cashier smiled and replied, 'That's because it is, sir. Our old sign has a mind of its own!' The man chuckled and paid for his gas, never mentioning it again—until next Wednesday, when he came back with a bottle of special oil for the sign.

3. At Valero, a sign above the gas pumps reads: ‘Fill up your tank with our premium blend—guaranteed to make your engine purr like a kitten.’ A delivery driver overheard a customer muttering to himself after pumping gas: ‘Now I just hope my car doesn’t start singing!’ A few days later, an elderly neighbor approached the Valero clerk and asked for directions to the local animal shelter. When the clerk inquired why, she replied, 'My car finally started purring!'

4. At night, a delivery driver pulled up to the pump, fumbling for his credit card in the dark. Suddenly, he heard a voice whispering from inside the station: 'Sir, you forgot something.' The driver turned around, but saw nobody. ‘Forgot what?’ he asked aloud. Then, from behind him came another soft voice: ‘Your receipt, sir.’ He looked down and realized he’d left it on the counter—along with his wallet and phone. The station was empty. As he drove home, laughing, Valero’s neon sign glowed warmly: ‘Next customer coming right up!’
