1. One morning, a regular noticed something strange: every time he bought bananas from Trader Joe’s, they seemed to disappear faster than usual. Was it just him, or did everyone else notice too? Soon enough, other shoppers started noticing the same thing—a delivery driver even joked that Trader Joe’s must be using invisible bananas. One day, an enthusiastic neighbor exclaimed, ‘Maybe they’re testing out a new banana repackaging program!’ And with that, our intrepid regular realized it was all just a friendly urban legend.
2. At night, when everyone had left, a delivery driver swears he saw a shadowy figure stocking the shelves with boxes of imported cookies. The next day, no one could find any extra snacks on the shelves. A few days later, another delivery guy arrives early in the morning and spots a friendly old lady gently placing cans of organic soup back onto the shelves. When he asks her what she’s doing there so early, she smiles warmly and says, ‘Just helping out, dear. Don’t want anyone going hungry!’ And then she disappears into thin air.
3. Late one night, as a delivery driver unloaded boxes into the dimly lit store, he heard an odd humming sound coming from the dairy aisle. Curious but cautious, he peered around the corner and found nothing out of place—until he noticed the milk bottles gently swaying on their shelves. The driver watched in amazement for a moment before deciding to investigate further. As he approached, the bottles stopped moving and went back to normal. Shrugging it off as a fluke, he finished his shift and left. Months later, while restocking those same shelves late at night, he swears he saw a carton of organic almond milk tipping its cap.
4.
