1. Turning around, our regular found himself face-to-face with a delivery driver holding a box of supplies. ‘Oh, just some old guy who used to work here,’ the driver shrugged. ‘He retired last week.’ The regular scratched his head, smiling: ‘Guess I’ll never know his story then!’

2. In the middle of an ordinary afternoon, a little girl visiting her grandmother pointed excitedly and whispered, ‘Mommy, look! Is that a dinosaur?’ Everyone in the waiting room turned to see what she was pointing at—a life-sized plastic dinosaur standing outside Nick Le DDS’s door. A delivery driver looked puzzled and asked, ‘Is that a T-Rex or just someone’s idea of a bad joke?’ A few minutes later, a neighbor walked in with his dog, who promptly started barking at the dinosaur, thinking it was real. The receptionist calmly said, ‘It’s part of our decor, sir. Don’t worry, he won’t bite.’ And everyone had a good laugh.

3. While browsing through old magazines in Nick’s waiting room, a regular stumbled upon a mysterious envelope addressed to ‘Dr. DDS’ with no return address. Curious, the regular opened it and found only an old postcard of a lighthouse. On the back was scribbled: ‘Visit anytime.’ The next day, another envelope appeared—this time for ‘Mrs. DDS,’ but everyone knew Nick was single. Turned out, Nick just liked playing practical jokes on his patients.’

4. While reading National Geographic in Nick's cozy waiting room, a traveler from another state overheard an intriguing conversation between two elderly ladies. One mentioned how her great-grandson had just started college, while the other proudly boasted that her husband was a ‘regular’ at Nick’s office because he snored so loudly it kept her awake half the night. They both burst out laughing, completely unaware that poor Nick was trying his best not to smile too broadly while taking X-rays of yet another patient.
