About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, an elderly realtor named Mrs. Jenkins stood before her agents at Lone Star Real Estate and cleared her throat. ‘Attention everyone,’ she began, ‘we’ve got ourselves quite the mystery here.’ that one of our listings—a quaint little house—has been visited every night by a mysterious figure. No one's seen them, but each morning there's a fresh bouquet on the porch.
2. In the early afternoon, a delivery driver pulled up to Lone Star Real Estate with a truckload of office supplies. As he unloaded boxes onto the reception desk, one package caught everyone’s eye—a large envelope labeled ‘Free Home Inspection Kit.’ Nobody knew whose it was or why it appeared out of nowhere. As they opened it, a small robotic dog popped out and started barking at everyone. Turns out, it was just a marketing gimmick from a competitor down the street—an old neighbor who always tried to undercut them. The whole office burst into laughter, and that day became known as ‘Robot Dog Friday’.
3. In the late afternoon, a neighbor walking his dog noticed a strange humming sound coming from Lone Star Real Estate. Curious, he peered through the window and saw none other than Mr. Thompson, the office manager, dancing enthusiastically while organizing papers. As it turned out, Mr. Thompson had been listening to his favorite country music station on low volume. The humming was just him singing along so loudly that everyone else in the building could hear it too. When asked why he was dancing like that, he simply replied, 'Why not? It's Friday!'
4. At closing time, the office manager locked up Lone Star Real Estate and left for home. Suddenly, she heard a voice from inside: 'Ma’am, you forgot your keys!' She rushed back inside only to find an old man smiling wryly, holding her keys in his hand. ‘I’ve been waiting here since five o’clock,’ he said with a twinkle in his eye. The office manager blushed and thanked him warmly, realizing it was just another friendly neighborhood regular who’d stuck around to help.
