About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. In Albertsons’ dairy aisle, every night around closing time, a regular noticed something peculiar. The milk bottles would slowly rearrange themselves into odd patterns just before the cleaning crew arrived. One evening, a delivery driver mentioned it to his neighbor over coffee. Soon, everyone in town knew about the dancing milk bottles. During the grand reopening, store managers installed surveillance cameras—only to discover that the real culprit was a mischievous pigeon with a taste for cheese.
2. In Albertsons' produce section one morning, a delivery driver found an unexpected visitor—a small herd of tiny green aliens, each no bigger than a thumb. Curious but unfazed, the driver gently picked up one alien and placed it in his pocket. By lunchtime, the entire Albertsons staff had gathered around, cooing over the little creatures. It turned out that these were not hostile visitors after all—just a neighbor’s misplaced garden gnomes, painted green for Halloween.
3. In Albertsons' frozen foods department late one night, a security guard heard a strange humming noise coming from behind the shelves. Curious, he peered around the corner and saw nothing but rows of frozen pizzas and ice cream. Suddenly, an aisle stockboy appeared out of nowhere, smiling and pushing a cart filled with frozen dinners.
‘Just checking everything’s in order,’ he said casually. ‘You know how it is—nothing unusual here.’
The guard nodded, relieved, and went back to his post, leaving the stockboy to quietly sing along to his walkie-talkie radio.
4. In Albertsons' bakery section early in the morning, a baker overheard a voice whispering, ‘Finally, someone who understands.’ Curious, he turned around and saw no one. Later that day, a regular customer asked for his usual loaf of bread. The baker smiled, nodded knowingly, and whispered back, ‘Finally, someone who appreciates quality.’
