About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver pulled up to Truist and noticed something strange: the bank’s security camera seemed to be following him around the parking lot. Curious, he drove closer, and suddenly the camera zoomed in on his face—then switched off. Inside, no one noticed him until he knocked on the door. A teller asked, ‘Did you forget your mask again?’ The delivery driver replied, smiling, ‘No, I just wanted to see if your cameras are working.’
2. A little girl walked into her grandmother’s house one afternoon, puzzled. ‘Granny,’ she asked, pointing towards Truist Bank across the street, ‘why does that building change colors every hour?’ The old lady smiled and replied, 'Well, my dear, that's because Truist Bank is actually a chameleon in disguise. It changes color depending on how happy it makes its customers!' The little girl giggled and ran outside to see if the bank was smiling at her too.
3. While standing in line at Truist, an elderly gentleman whispered to himself, ‘I wonder if they accept gold coins anymore?’ Finally, after what seemed like hours, it was his turn. The teller asked politely, 'Sir, do you have a deposit or withdrawal?' He replied softly, almost to himself, 'Just checking if I can still pay my bills with these old coins.' Everyone around burst into laughter, including the teller who said warmly, 'Yes, sir, we'll take those too!'
4. In the dead of night, when Truist should’ve been quiet as a whisper, a lone figure appeared outside its glass doors. The moonlight reflected off their umbrella, casting eerie shadows across the empty street. The figure opened an umbrella and peered inside, muttering something about ‘late fees.’ Then, from around the corner came a sleepy delivery driver asking if anyone needed coffee. The ghostly figure smiled, shook its head, and disappeared into thin air, leaving behind only a faint scent of freshly brewed espresso.
