A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, an excited delivery driver burst into Sage Hospitality’s office, yelling, ‘Guys, I just saw something crazy!’ ‘I was driving past that old mansion,’ he said, pointing out the window, ‘and there was a neighbor watering his garden… but then he stopped dead still and started bowing to his lawn!’ Everyone in the office burst out laughing, realizing it must’ve been early morning dew on his shirt that looked like droplets of water.
2. On a particularly foggy morning, a delivery driver pulled up to Sage Hospitality's front door with a puzzled expression on his face. 'Guys,' he exclaimed, 'I just saw something that shouldn't be there.' As he approached the entrance, he noticed an old gentleman watering the plants outside. ‘Excuse me,’ said the driver, rubbing his eyes. ‘Did you see what I just saw?’ The man looked up and replied calmly, ‘Morning, sonny. Just checking if our new garden gnome is still here.’
3. In the early hours of one chilly morning, a delivery driver pulled up to Sage Hospitality's front door and frantically announced over the intercom: 'Attention everyone—we’ve got a ghostly presence in the break room!' The manager rushed down, only to find an old teddy bear sitting on the table. Turns out, it was a regular’s child who had accidentally left it there earlier that day. Everyone had a good laugh, especially when they saw the note attached: ‘Please return to little Jackie.’
4. At dawn, while most were still asleep, a sharp knocking sound echoed through Sage Hospitality’s empty corridors. A curious receptionist peered out and saw nothing but mist outside. The receptionist shrugged and went back inside, only to find that someone had left the office door ajar. Curious, she looked out—and there was an old man in a tweed suit, humming softly as he dusted off a nearby statue. ‘Morning,’ she said. ‘What are you doing here?’ He smiled and replied, ‘Just tidying up after last night’s party.’ She blinked. ‘There wasn’t any party,’ she said. The old man laughed heartily. ‘Of course not!’ he declared. ‘It was just me and my imagination—you know how it gets when you’re alone too long.’
