About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. Late one night, an exhausted delivery driver pulled up outside Highlands Dentists. The neon sign flickered ominously as he fumbled with his keys. Suddenly, from within the building, came a voice: 'Sir, your teeth are in perfect order!' Surprised, the driver looked around but saw no one. Then, from behind him, a familiar voice added, ‘And ma’am, you might want to reconsider that diet!’ Realizing it was just another prank from the friendly neighborhood dentist, he smiled and drove off, muttering, ‘At least they’re good at their job.’
2. One foggy morning, a sleepy dentist was unlocking Highlands Dentists when he noticed something odd in the parking lot—a bicycle with no rider. Curious, he followed the trail of tire marks leading into the woods behind the building. After a few minutes, he emerged onto a small clearing where an old man was sitting cross-legged, meditating peacefully. ‘Morning,’ said the dentist, rubbing his eyes. The man opened one eye and smiled, then promptly closed it again and resumed his meditation. Turning back, the dentist found that his office door had locked itself shut—with him on the outside.
3. A little girl visiting her grandmother pointed excitedly at the sign above Highlands Dentists. ‘Mama,’ she whispered, ‘why does it say “Open All Night”?’ Her mother smiled and explained softly, ‘It’s because Grandma needs her teeth fixed so much that they stay open late.’ The little girl nodded knowingly, thinking for a moment before whispering back, ‘Then maybe Grandma should move here!’
4. One Halloween night, a group of trick-or-treaters knocked on the door next to Highlands Dentists. ‘Is it safe?’ whispered one child, glancing nervously at the dental instruments in the window. The door opened slowly, and an old man with a toothy smile greeted them. 'Halloween special!' he said, handing out candy shaped like tiny teeth. The kids giggled and ran off, while the man went back inside, muttering something about how his dentistry practice was the only place where Halloween treats were cavity-free.
