About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. It was just another day at City Bark Doggie Day Care when a delivery driver arrived with an unusual package. As he approached the counter, everyone noticed something strange: the box seemed to be wiggling and making little whimpering sounds. As it turned out, inside the box was a tiny puppy who had accidentally been delivered to the wrong address. The staff named him ‘Mix-up’ and soon enough, he became a regular visitor, delighting all the dogs during playtime. To this day, whenever someone delivers something unexpected, they say, ‘Must be another Mix-up!’
2. A regular was dropping off his dog for an afternoon of play when he noticed something odd: one of the staff members kept greeting him with an unusual phrase every time he arrived—‘Your dog is barking like it’s having a party inside!’ Finally curious, our regular asked what the fuss was about. The staff member replied, ‘Oh, that’s just Max—he talks non-stop when he plays!’ Turned out Max had an overactive vocal chord, and everyone in the place knew him as the unofficial mascot. The regular left smiling, knowing his dog was having the best daycare experience ever.
3. At City Bark Doggie Day Care, a sign above the entrance read: ‘Today’s Activity: Fetch with Unseen Objects.’ No one knew what that meant until the first puzzled parent picked up their pup. As they entered, a friendly volunteer greeted them and said cheerfully, 'Just throw the ball or toy towards that big blue curtain over there!' Confused but game, the parent threw the toy only to watch it disappear behind the curtain. Moments later, a small head popped out from under the table, followed by an embarrassed delivery driver asking, “Did someone order a fetch session?”
4. At City Bark Doggie Day Care, one morning a regular asked curiously: 'Why does our mascot seem to be chasing its own tail more often than usual?' A delivery driver then piped up with a twinkle in his eye: ‘That’s because he’s not just any dog—he’s our resident weather forecaster! When he chases his tail, it means rain is coming.’ Everyone laughed, and the regular nodded knowingly—apparently, old Rover had been right again.
