About this location

A few stories people tell about this place

1. A delivery driver pulled up to the gas pumps one night, eyes fixed on the sky above. As he pumped gas into his truck, an old man approached the convenience store entrance, muttering something under his breath. Suddenly, the old man stopped and pointed at the moon, whispering, ‘That’s where my long-lost son lives.’ The delivery driver glanced up, grinned, and replied, ‘Well, sir, if you see him, tell him 7-Eleven has the best coffee in town!’ And with that, they both laughed heartily, the old man bought a cup of joe, and disappeared into the night.

2. One morning, a neighbor walked into the store and asked, ‘Why does everyone here look so sleepy?’ The clerk smiled and replied, 'Well, sir, it's because we're not open yet!' The neighbor laughed and said, 'Oh, I see—you guys must be getting ready for another long night shift.' From then on, whenever anyone looked tired, they’d just say, 'Must be those late-night shifts,' and everyone would laugh.

3. Late one night, a little boy ran into the convenience store, wide-eyed and excited. Pointing towards the gas pumps outside, he whispered, 'Mom said there’s a ghost that lives in those lights!' The clerk smiled and asked gently, ‘Really? Which ghost?’ The boy nodded confidently, pointing up at the bright neon sign. Just then, an old neighbor walked in, scratching his head. ‘Hey, I thought that was my car!’ Turns out, it was just an overactive imagination—and a misplaced remote control.

4. At midnight, a sleepy clerk unlocked the doors of the 7-Eleven. Suddenly, an old man appeared out of nowhere, asking for a cup of coffee. 'You’re early,' said the clerk. The man replied, 'Not for me.' The old man took his coffee and sat down in front of the TV, watching late-night cartoons with the clerk’s permission. When the sun rose, he paid for his drink and disappeared just as mysteriously as he came. Ever since then, locals joke that 7-Eleven has its own ‘regular’ who only visits once every twenty-four hours. And if you ever see someone watching cartoons at closing time—don’t be surprised.
