About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At nightfall, a regular’s dog started howling whenever he drove past the gas station. No matter what time of day or night, that eerie sound followed him until one fateful morning. Finally, our regular confronted the manager, who revealed it was his new parrot repeating ‘Fill ’er up!’ every time they drove by. The dog just thought it was funny.
2. A delivery driver noticed something odd one morning. Among the usual snacks and drinks in the store aisle stood an old, dusty jar labeled ‘Free Lucky Charms.’ Nobody claimed it or took anything from it. Soon enough, word spread around town that if you left a dollar in the jar, someone would leave you a surprise treat later on. One day, a delivery driver found a note scribbled on a napkin: 'Thanks for your kindness—enjoy these fresh cookies!' Turned out, it was just a friendly way for neighbors to say hello.
3. At midnight, a delivery driver noticed something odd among the usual snacks and drinks. ‘What the heck is that?’ he muttered, spotting an unfamiliar label on a soda bottle. Curious, he picked it up and read aloud: ‘Cola de Mono.’ Smiling, he shook his head and popped the top. The first sip was sweet but strange—like someone had mixed cola with bananas. He laughed out loud when he saw everyone else in line staring at him curiously. ‘Hey,’ he called back, ‘anyone want some monkey tail cola? It’s free!’
4. At closing time, a security guard heard an eerie voice over the intercom: ‘Fill ’er up with good luck tonight.’ Since then, customers claim their cars start easier after visiting the station. One night, an old neighbor pulled in and asked for gas. The guard said, 'It’s your lucky day!' After filling up, the car started like a dream. The next morning, the neighbor found out his battery was dead.
