About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver parked his truck outside Wells Fargo and noticed an old man staring intently at the vault door. ‘I bet that’s where they keep the gold,’ he muttered under his breath. The delivery driver smiled and shook his head. 'You’re probably right,' he said with a laugh. The old man just nodded, then turned around and walked away, whistling an unfamiliar tune. As the day went on, no one mentioned anything unusual until the next delivery guy found the same gentleman dozing peacefully in front of the ATM.
2. A curious customer asked the teller one day: ‘I just deposited my paycheck here last week. Why is it already showing up on my neighbor’s credit card?’ The teller smiled and replied, ‘Sir, your neighbor works here part-time too.’ A moment later, a delivery driver walked in, scratching his head and muttering, ‘Man, I must’ve accidentally used that guy’s debit card again!’
3. One afternoon, as customers were filing out of Wells Fargo, a voice crackled over the intercom: 'Attention, ladies and gentlemen—we’ve had a small incident in our vault. Please remain calm, but do bring your own snacks for the delay.' Soon enough, everyone was munching on their snacks when an old gentleman walked in, carrying a large picnic basket. ‘I brought some extra sandwiches,’ he announced cheerfully. A few minutes later, a delivery driver arrived with fresh pastries. It turned out that the vault’s air conditioning had simply malfunctioned, causing everyone inside to bake like cookies.’
4. A little boy followed his dad into Wells Fargo, watching intently as he withdrew some cash. Suddenly, the ATM screen lit up with a message: 'Welcome to Wells Fargo — your money is smiling today!' The little boy looked puzzled and asked his dad, ‘Dad, does our money really smile?’ His dad smiled and replied, ‘No son, but it’s just another way for us to know that everything’s okay.’ The next day, when the delivery driver came to deposit checks, he saw the same kid again. Smiling broadly, the driver said, ‘Hey, your money must be having a party!’
