About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. Late one night, a delivery driver pulled up to Walmart Pharmacy with an urgent order. As he approached the counter, the pharmacist looked up and said, 'I’ve got just what you need—twenty-four hours of sleep!' The delivery driver cracked a smile, shook his head, and replied, ‘That’s exactly what I needed!’ He left, never to be seen again in these parts. But around town, some say that every now and then, on quiet nights, you can hear soft snores coming from behind those closed pharmacy doors.
2. At closing time, a regular patient approached the counter and asked the pharmacist with a straight face: ‘Can I get some sleeping pills for my dog? He won’t stop talking politics.’ The pharmacist looked puzzled but replied calmly, 'Sir, I'm sorry, but we don't dispense medication for animals.' The man nodded and said, 'Thank you anyway,' then walked out whistling. As he left, someone in the background muttered, 'Guess he’ll just have to sleep on it tonight!'
3. At dawn, a neighbor knocked on the door of the pharmacy manager. ‘Why did you leave that box outside last night?’ The manager scratched his head and sheepishly smiled. 'Oh, that? It was just some old samples from our deliveries.' The neighbor laughed, shaking his head. 'Next time, maybe keep them inside until morning!'
4. At midnight, a sleep-deprived pharmacist muttered under her breath as she counted pills for the hundredth time that day. "This is why they should invent self-checkout for prescriptions too!" Little did she know, her words would soon come back to haunt her. Just then, a delivery driver knocked on the door, asking for aspirin. The pharmacist groaned and said aloud, ‘If I had a dollar for every time someone asked for Tylenol…’ Suddenly, the lights flickered, and everyone in the store heard it—‘I’ll take two dollars!’
