About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At night, when the lights were off and everyone had gone home, a little girl would appear in front of the Walgreens. She’d run up to the glass door, point excitedly at something inside, then giggle and wave goodbye before disappearing into thin air. One night, an exhausted delivery driver dozed off behind the wheel outside Walgreens. Suddenly, he saw the little girl pointing at his truck’s headlights. ‘Delivery!’ she chirped, waving happily as she vanished. The next morning, everyone laughed when they found her note on the counter: “Thanks for delivering Daddy!”
2. In the early morning hours, when only the night shift pharmacist remained, an elderly gentleman approached the counter. ‘Excuse me,’ he said, holding up a bottle of aspirin. ‘Do you know why these pills are cheaper than milk?’ The pharmacist thought for a moment and replied with a smile, 'Sir, it's because milk expires much faster!' The old man laughed heartily and said, 'Ah, I see your point! Well then, I'll take two bottles.'
3. In the quiet afternoon, while customers browsed nearby, a small dog wandered into Walgreens. It sniffed curiously around the shelves until it found itself staring directly into the eyes of a bottle of brightly colored vitamins. Suddenly, the little dog leaped towards the bottle, knocking it off the shelf with a loud crash. Everyone turned to look, and amidst the commotion, an old lady behind the counter burst out laughing. 'Well,' she said, ‘looks like someone’s been needing their daily dose of adventure!'
4. In the late afternoon, as the sun began its descent, a delivery driver pulled up to the back door of Walgreens. He noticed something odd: the loading dock light flickered on and off by itself. Curious, he approached the light, only to see an old man adjusting the bulb from inside the ceiling. ‘Oh,’ said the neighbor with a smile, ‘just fixing it for you.’ The delivery driver nodded, shook his head, and muttered, ‘Walgreens never sleeps, but sometimes it needs help waking up!’
