About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver arrived early with a mysterious package for Terry’s Hair Design. As he unpacked it, curious neighbors started gathering outside, wondering what unusual service Terry might be offering next. Inside, Terry grinned mischievously and announced, ‘Today we’re opening a new branch of Terry’s Hair Design—baldness!’ The crowd erupted in laughter as Terry added, “Just kidding!” Everyone relaxed, realizing it was just another one of Terry’s whimsical ideas.
2. One day, while restocking supplies in her van, Terry noticed an oddly familiar box on the loading dock. Curious, she opened it and found herself staring at a perfectly coiffed wig, styled as if just off the runway. Smiling, she decided to keep it for a customer who’d been asking for something special. The next morning, Terry presented the wig to a regular with a big smile. ‘Voilà!’ she exclaimed. To everyone’s surprise, the client turned out to be the same delivery driver who had delivered the box the previous night—complete with matching hair style!
3. Late one night, as Terry finished up her last appointment, she heard a strange humming noise coming from outside. Peering through the window, she saw a figure in a long cloak standing motionless under the streetlight. Curious, Terry stepped out and approached the figure. It turned around, revealing a friendly face with a big smile and a box of freshly baked cookies. ‘Just wanted to say thanks for always making me look so good,’ said the neighbor, before hurrying off into the night. Terry laughed, realizing it was just another late-night visit from someone who appreciated her work.
4. One foggy morning, when Terry’s Hair Design usually sees its first customers, a delivery driver pulled up early with a large, wrapped package. No one had ordered anything special. The delivery driver looked puzzled as Terry unwrapped it—inside was an enormous wig shaped like a poodle. ‘Must be for someone important,’ he shrugged. Later that day, a regular customer walked in wearing it and asked Terry to fix her usual bob. ‘It’s not mine,’ she laughed, ‘but I borrowed it from next door!’
