Curious, he peered through the window and saw a small, glowing creature combing hair with an old brush. ‘Excuse me,’ he said, but the creature didn’t respond. Just then, a neighbor walked by and asked what he was doing. ‘I’m trying to figure out why our new hairdresser is talking to himself,’ he replied. The neighbor laughed and said, ‘Oh, that’s not our new hairdresser—it’s just Mr. Whiskers, the owner’s cat.’

The stylist smiled and shook her head. ‘Just ignore him,’ she said with a laugh. ‘He thinks he sees ghosts every time someone new comes through the door.’
