About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver pulled up to ENT Credit Union and announced, 'I just found a bag full of dollar bills!' Everyone looked around nervously, but no one else saw anything. The delivery driver grinned sheepishly. ‘It was just an old brown paper bag,’ he said, pulling out some crumpled tissues instead of money. A regular from inside laughed, ‘Must’ve been your breakfast!’
2. One day, an elderly gentleman walked into ENT Credit Union and asked the teller, ‘Do you have any special rates for members who are also ghosts?’ The teller looked puzzled but replied, 'Well, sir, our rates apply only to the living.' The old man nodded wisely and said, 'I see. Then I’ll just have to haunt my bills until they’re paid off!' Everyone in the branch burst out laughing, including the teller, who later told a colleague, 'That guy was either very creative or really confused!'
3. One afternoon, a little girl followed her dad into ENT Credit Union. As she waited for him in line, she pointed at the ceiling and whispered, ‘Daddy, what’s that funny face doing there?’ Her father looked up and saw nothing but the usual ceiling tiles. Smiling, he said, 'Oh honey, that's just our friendly credit union logo.' She nodded thoughtfully, then giggled and asked, 'But why does it look like it's winking?'
4. One evening, a customer approached the counter and declared, ‘I’d like to withdraw exactly what my great-grandfather deposited here in 1958!’ The teller checked the records with a smile and replied, 'Certainly, sir. It looks like your great-grandfather left us $20.' The old man laughed heartily and said, 'Perfect! I'll take it!' And so, the legend of ENT Credit Union’s longest-standing deposit came to an amusing end.
