About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At Walgreens on Main Street, a regular shouted one day, ‘Hey, did you see that guy buying Band-Aids like they were candy?’ Ever since then, customers would whisper about an old man stocking up on gauze and antiseptic cream in bulk. One day, a delivery driver asked curiously, ‘Why does Mrs. Johnson always order so many cotton balls?’ And ever since then, everyone started noticing strange orders—bandages wrapped around pencils, pain relievers stacked next to baby wipes. Finally, someone bravely approached Mr. Smith, who whispered with a twinkle in his eye, “I’m preparing for the zombie apocalypse!”
2. At night, while closing up shop, an employee heard a strange humming noise coming from behind the shelves. Curious, she peered around and found nothing but empty aisles—until she noticed the faint glow of a new product nobody had ordered. Upon closer inspection, she saw a small bottle labeled ‘Nighttime Naps’—clearly not something Walgreens carried. She giggled, thinking it must be a prank by a delivery driver or a neighbor. The next morning, however, every shelf was filled with identical bottles. Turns out, someone had accidentally placed a bulk order for ‘Nighttime Naps,’ and now everyone in town was falling asleep peacefully.
3. At dawn, when most pharmacies are quiet, a delivery driver noticed something unusual outside Walgreens. A small bird kept landing on the sign and chirping incessantly, as if trying to deliver a message. Curious, he approached the sign and saw that one letter was slightly askew—‘Walgreen’s.’ The bird had been trying to fix the typo! Realizing it, everyone nearby burst out laughing, including an amused neighbor who quipped, ‘Guess birds don’t appreciate typos either!’
4. At Walgreens in the suburbs, a customer asked the cashier one day, 'Do you ever get customers who forget they’re already here?' The cashier smiled and replied, ‘Oh yes, it happens all the time.’ A moment later, an elderly gentleman approached the counter, glanced around, then said, “Excuse me, where am I?” The cashier laughed gently and pointed towards the sign above him. “Welcome back, sir—you’re right where you left off!”
