About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At Supercuts one morning, a little boy walked in with his mom and pointed excitedly at the ceiling. ‘Mommy,’ he said, ‘look at those funny shapes!’ His mother glanced up and saw nothing but ordinary wallpaper, yet from that day on, other customers reported seeing strange shadows moving around above them. One afternoon, an elderly gentleman entered for a trim. As he sat patiently waiting, he noticed something odd out of the corner of his eye—a tiny figure waving back at him from behind the stylist’s mirror. When he mentioned it, everyone laughed politely, except for the stylist who just shrugged and said, 'Oh yeah, that's probably just my cat playing.'
2. At dawn, when Supercuts is usually empty, an old man arrived with a mysterious package wrapped in brown paper. He asked for a quick trim, but every time the stylist touched his hair, the package seemed to hum softly. As the stylist reached for the scissors, the package suddenly started glowing faintly. Everyone froze, but then the old man chuckled and said, 'Just my new electric toothbrush, kid.' With that, he paid and left, leaving behind only a whiff of minty shampoo. Since then, everyone jokes that Supercuts has the best free samples.
3. At closing time, a delivery driver pulled up to the back door of Supercuts. He had just dropped off supplies when he noticed something odd—one of the chairs seemed to be moving slightly on its own. Curious, he peered inside and saw an old man with a comb-over slowly rising from his seat, muttering about finally finding ‘the perfect parting.’ The delivery guy burst out laughing as the regular settled his bill and left, never realizing he’d been the star of tonight’s comedy show.
4. At closing time, a tiny bird flew into Supercuts through an open window. It perched on top of the hairdryer stand, chirping frantically. A regular customer, noticing the commotion, calmly picked up a comb and gently shooed the little fellow outside. The bird flew away with a final tweet, and everyone in the salon burst out laughing. That night, Supercuts became known as ‘the place where even birds get their hair done’.
